The Eliza Collin Edit
We invited London-based artist and designer Eliza Collin (@elizalicollin) to our Dalston studio to chat about her practice, fashion and climate change.
During her undergraduate course in fashion design and technology at London College of Fashion, Eliza became interested in the processes around fashion - from sourcing materials to marketing products - and the impact of these processes on resources. This led her to Central Saint Martins to study the MA Material Futures, where she explored our relationship with water. In her work, Eliza considers all aspects of production and uses climate change as a push to discover new technologies, materials and processes.
Eliza's approach to fashion and design is considerate and inspired by her environment and the people around her. In her everyday outfits, it translates into classic shapes and silhouettes that are timeless and easy to wear beyond seasonal trends. Watch the interview below and scroll down to find her top picks from our collection.
All black everything.
When in doubt, Eliza gravitates towards monochrome looks in either white or black. She paired our black ribbed cableknit knit top with our most flattering double pleated trousrs to create a versatile all black look.
Mixing it up.
Eliza likes to mix the smart and the casual to create outfits that look put together and make her feel powerful. For this earthy-toned look, she paired the khaki double pleat tailored trousers with our light blue white trim top.
All the layers.
This look brings together playful colours with neutral tones. Eliza layered the soft ivory polo knit top over our lilac knit tank and paired them with our dark brown double pleat tailored trousers.
