We sat down with London-based singer and songwriter Alaïs to chat about music, fashion and vulnerability.
Growing up in a small town in Italy, Alaïs wanted to fit in and kept her style simple and conservative. She didn't understand her mother's pattern mix-matching and bold colour styling. When she moved to London, she started using her music and fashion as a powerful outlet to express the wide range of emotions she can't always verbalise.

The everyday look.
Alaïs likes to keep it comfortable and simple for her everyday outfits. Her go-to look would include a pair of fun denim like these purple jeans, and a knitted vest layered over a simple top.
Fifty shades of blue.
When it comes to colour, Alaïs loves blue and all the hues it comes in. She accessorised this flattering pale blue peek back dress with silver jewellery and rectangular sunglasses.
Mixing it up.
